For a variety of reasons, were in the position to stay in close proximity to them. The school started in the 1850s. It is at a market which has always valued Christian schools. However, in the last 10 years a number of parochial schools have closed or merged. The majority of the merged schools are struggling. The mergers caused the pace of failure to decline but never arrest the decline. For longer than 10 years, the parish membership from the church has been in decline in addition to school enrollment.
